Mudwave

Our app, in development Mudwave

Mudwave is a MUD client built for your ears, your hands, and your screen reader — one app that connects you straight into live text worlds. There is no company server in the middle: your phone talks directly to the world itself, over an encrypted connection where the world offers one, and your password stays in your phone's Keychain, sent only to that world. Miriani arrives ready to play, its community soundpack bundled and credited — and any other MUD is yours to add by its host and port, played on your own account. In play, the world reaches you as sound that moves around you and turns with you, as touch, and as clean text: spatial audio, haptics, a low-vision starmap you can actually read, and controls built from gestures and motion, with every command still one typed line away. Built by DeafBlind players for the worlds we live in. Mudwave is in development now, and not yet available to download.
